10 years ago today, the world got its first glimpse of the Camaro 5th gen when we unveiled the Camaro Concept at COBO Hall in Detroit, MIchigan as part of the North American International Autoshow. While I knew it was a winner, I could not have predicted the passion and love that the car has brought forth worldwide. For those of us who were lucky enough to be a part of the unveil, it's something we'll never forget. Thank YOU for making this Camaro such a success!

Happy Birthday indeed. And it took me nearly 10 years to get my first Gen 5 - and very happy that I was able to get one of the last of the gen. Hopefully not so long for the next, but not sure I will be as stoked. We appreciate greatly all you have done for us and the passion you've put into what you do. We have all enjoyed the fruit of your labor!! Now let's get those candles blown out so we can go drive

Wasn't there for the concept unveiling but I was around when the first gen came out.
Now I'm fortunate enough to have IMO the BEST Camaro ever! Thank You for it!

I saw the Camaro concepts at GM Carlisle in 2007. I told myself that on the day
I could order one I would. 2 years later my Summit White SS was in my garage.

Been in love with them since they hit showroom floors

Vowed to own one when I got out of college, and worked myself towards my goal. Glad the General decided to bring the Camaro back

Wow, has it been ten years? I remember seeing that concept car first in a magazine. I told myself if GM built it anywhere close to that concept, I would get one. I really didn't think they would. Later I saw it in person at the Denver auto show and when it was green lighted by GM I started saving money.
