Someone point out the differences please
Hello all,
I know I am probably sounding dumb here but what can ya do? I have looked at all of the teaser pics of the 6th Gen, and I do not see much change in the exterior over the 5th gen. The body lines look almost identical to me. Can anyone point out obvious difference I am issing. The one difference I see is the wheel arches over the back wheels do not look as big. But that is all I can see. |

Well the easy things to spot are a smaller upper grille opening, larger lower grille opening, LED strips in the headlights instead of Halos, the indentation in the lower door is larger in front and tapers towards the back and more rounded, opposite of the 5th gen. The rear side window is a different shape, the roof has more of a fastback appearance, the tail lights look like they will still wrap around but will taper more towards the center of the trunk. The license cutout will be more stylish instead of a big recessed rectangle.
Plus it will have a new Camaro badge. That's all I can think of just through my memory...

It's more in the details. But to me it's disappointing, I would have prefered a more standalone new gen (like every other camaro gen before!)
That brought me to ordering a 2015 Mustang (I know some people dont like it, but at least it looks like a car out of 2015, not 2005) |

I personally was not a fan of the 2014 refresh, and still do not like what they did with the front(narrower upper grille, big gaping lower). The tail lights have grown on me a little though.
But it looks as though the 6th Gen will follow in the 2014 refreshed styling, so for me, that is a bit of a let down. The 6th gen seems like they just made the refreshed 5th gen fit the smaller Alpha platform, and only changed what they needed to, to make it work with the smaller chassis. That's not evolutionary to me. We haven't seen any non camouflaged 6th gens yet. Who knows what's really hiding underneath those swirls and twirls? Well, who knows outside of GM/Chevy I mean... I am pretty excited to see the interior though! |

hello new member here. I don't mind the 2014 refresh so just making it more sleek and cleaning it up is fine with me. Honestly if it comes with the rumored 460 hp lt1 3700 lbs, 1.0 lateral g and 35k starting price almost nothing is dropping me from getting one. The only question is to look for a 1ss with 1le option
