Skiers, anyone been to Jackson hole?
So i am an expert skier and love vertical drop. Snowbird is my favorite place on earth, but have only been to Mammoth, Park city, Deer Valley. At this stage in my life im only interested in groomed runs, the steeper the better. Deer Valley has some pretty steep stuff, but like i say Snowbird is my favorite.
Im thinking about a little change and ran across Jackson hole with 50% of the mountain expert. Like i say im only interested in groomed runs now. Those that have skied there are these runs groomed, or down the side of a mountain?

I used to go every x-mas and rent a house there. I only ran on the groomed runs and there were plenty, but they certainly weren't "over" groomed.
Had more fun at the Mangy Moose than on the slopes.

Jackson Hole is great for Advance Skiers. You are correct. Majority of the mountain is Black or Double Black Runs. You will like it alot. Kurt

I'm an intermediate skier and will be headed there in February. According to the trail map there should be plenty of blue runs for me

Not a skier but, I've been to Jackson Hole many times. I highly recommend Teton Mountain Lodge in Teton Village. Its a short walk to the gondola, the restaurant/bar is good and the jetted tubs are the bomb. And its at the base of the ski area.
