8.4l in ss?

Would an 8.4l viper engine fit into a 2012 ss?

In the spirit of Christmas I will try not to be too much of a smart @$$

Will it fit, for the right amount of money anything will fit

Will it drop right in? Off course not

Is there a good reason? No as the LS based motors can make just as much HP

Now please step away from the egg nog.

A v10 on a 5th gen will be sweet! But it would be pricey! You're going to need a stand alone ecu and a lot of custom fabbing to the engine cradle.

There is no reason to believe your car would perform better with that engine, but yes you can make it fit.

I have a lot more to say on the subject, but I'll just stay quiet.

Not easily but a bottle of nitrous and a bigger rear view mirror to stare at vipers in will fit very easily

It will fit and work with money. $$$
The bigger issue is why would you install a Dodge (sorry...I meant SRT) engine in a Chevrolet?!

In my opinion the v10 sounds like a tuba trying to have sex with a saxaphone.
