Of course they're going to go bankrupt again.

Shelling money out to a failing corporation is not how you fix it.

Has anyone seen how people are taking advantage of GM's new 60-day guarantee policy?

They go out and buy a Chevy Volt, which gets them a $7,500 tax credit, then they return the vehicle a week or two later.

As far as the government sees it, they still purchased the car, so the tax credit doesn't get taken back...

Oh yay, another factless report by a biased media outlet making widespread assumptions. Glad to see websites like that still don't have any idea what they're talking about. Yes, GM's stock is down compared to the IPO... but to make the leap to say it's going bankrupt again is just absurd.

Furthermore - GM coming out with vehicles that are noncompetitive? Wow - how ignorant is that? One look at the ATS and we know the Blaze's noncompetitive claim is debunked. And that's ignoring the fact that the Camaro has been highly successful since launch.

Edit: Weren't you the same guy who posted some other stupid article bashing GM before? Why do you fall for these articles every time and then post them here? If you're so anti-GM, go buy a Toyota.

crooks! They shouldn't see the credit until 90 days after the vehicle purchase or tax time - whichever is farthest from the date of purchase. By then, it's too late to return the vehicle unless it's a lemon - and then the return should be reported to the IRS so they don't "game" the system.

Friggin' crooks chipping away at the foundation the rest of us are trying to maintain by earning a paycheck and putting money back into our own economy.

Don't worry - they THINK they got the $7,500 credit... but just wait until tax time when the IRS comes knocking.

Maybe since you think you know so much then you should work for the Blaze and then put out something positive.

Facts are this, ive owned GM and Ford products since the late 70's and I own a SS right this very minute and proud of it. So I am not "bashing" anyone and as for you, if you dont like my post then dont read it

Bankruptcy does not mean "go out of business". It means they would reorganize, so a proper bankruptcy would be the best thing for GM. It would allow all union contracts to be voided and re-negotiated, something that did not happen with the prior fakeruptcy, illegal, shaft-legitimate-debt-holders Obama deal.
