Great to hear 2 for 2!

I honestly studied hard and bit the bullet on a wimb which paid off in the long run. Still wish they would have made it off of the other bumper lines as we would have had more hood options.

I have a fix for the sag / pins in mind but it means removing the bumper yet again. Not that I haven't done it a million times already.

I'll be modifying the bumper to do it though. Rather than have the bolts be on the fender side I'll have nuts. I feel this will give better control of the tightness.

I'll be removing the bumper , replacing the t' nuts, screwing in the bolts from the reverse and gluing them in.

This way the nut side will be on the inner fenders.

Yes I’ve heard about the nut and bolt trick from evil orange. I don’t have the hardware for the belly pan install today. I have a video I made and will add just an extra clip of the hood/bumper cowl lines. Repost here after a quick YouTube upload

I must have missed that trick in this thread but I feel it would be best.

I had to grind my sidemarkers a little too for a better fit.

Go to the 1:00 mark if you want to skip straight to the cowl line match up

Maybe since I bought my bumper later it changed somewhat and this version was touching. I was informed by another guy who had the same issue. This is the best pic I had of it I deleted the others already but the fog light bezel was up against the impact bar. I did a 1/2” in trim on the outside edge and my bumper relaxed.

I ordered the tubular crash bar from West Coast to replace the stock unit because I did not want to see that ugly stock unit in back of the grille and it blocks a tremendous amount of air feeding the intercooler/radiator.

Yes, black hides the stock unit nicely, good choice if not replacing it with a tubular bar. I have to tell you, when I first set that front bumper in place and looked at it on the car, I had an adrenaline rush! What an awesome modification to the 5th Gen Camaro! And Ikon Motorsports put together an awesome kit, very nice pieces. I am completely happy with the kit and the price. Can't wait to get it on permanently but I am taking my time and it may take a while because my business is very busy and time is at a premium.

I totally remember you saying you had multi bumpers. I don’t remember if you ever mentioned pick up in person. Aren’t you in Socal? Glad you confirmed that trim thing otherwise ppl would have thought I was messing up. I’m just trying to give out helpful and correct info as well

im in socal but the place would just ship out a bumper and then I would send it back as the packaging would be thrashed and the bumper would not fit or be scratched so communication with the company means I only really paid for 2 bumpers and 0 shipping but got to preview alot of bad ones
