Yes, it's all a matter of time frames. A few shops have dynoed with shit gas and then started to rip the car apart. Not every shop has the time to drive 300 miles to empty the tank. A few shops have posted just that, pretty common senerio for a busy shop.

OK I got to ASK this all the Threads On BREAK it in or Drive it like your going to from the Start. I see all the SPEED shops Going with this brand NEW car and DRIVING the Hell out of it on the DYNO brand new. So much for the Break in. WHY don't they worry about this??????????? Kind of confused?????????????? Please PM me with your INPUT On this so I don't have to look here a Million times LOL

Didn't see a good answer... in short, the gear ratios in the automatic transmission are very different... 1st gear is much lower (higher number) and 8th about the same as 6th in the manual - GM had to put a higher ratio (lower number) final drive to raise 1st gear to something useable and make 8th high enough for fuel economy benefit. 6th gear in the auto is about the same overall ratio as 5th in the manual.
