How rare is my car?

Did some research on the registry and talked to some zl1 guys and they say my car is pretty rare. I have a 2012 blk zl1 with every option on it except moon roof. yes, every option including cup holder and foot light, clear carbon hood insert, front grille painted body color (don't ask but yes its on there), upgraded rims, cargo net, car cover, alcantara suede pkg, manual, note nav is not an option in 2012. the total options comes to $4,329.00, anyone know where I can find how rare my car is? thanks.

You may have every option, and some day, in 40 years, someone may think that's cool, IF these become collectables and you have next to no miles, but you have the most popular color there was made in the ZL1. Being that you have black, the only option that makes your car rare is the silver rims. Most people opt for the black rims, especially with the black car.

Plus, if you say every option, the automatic is an option, and you do not have it.

How rare is your car?
answer: not as rare as mine (1of 20)

Sorry I couldn't resist. The fact that it is a '12 helps, but IDK about a Black ZL1, those are pretty common. '12 was a short run because they didn't get built until around feb-march ish of that year. I'm gonna go with kinda, but not really.

Here you go....broken down by color and trans. That is the farthest GM broke it down....if they went by option boxes it would be crazy and too much to sort.

The IBM ZL1 are the rarest, color wise. Those are already getting good money.

It's not rare, in fact it's well done ... Black is the most common color, and most of the extra's you got really don't amount to much.

Yeah, what they said, it's the most common color.

Drive and enjoy. I do.

Not to mention the cup holder and footwell lighting was dealer installed, not factory installed. Not sure about the heritage grill but I think it was too.

Yep, those were all dealer installed options, and they are available on any Camaro, so I don't think they make your ZL1 any more unique that anyone else's with the same factory options.

I hope you are enjoying your ZL1 and not holding on to it thinking it's going to be a collector car in 40 years. I'm not saying it won't be, but you'll only cost yourself a bunch of disappointment by not driving it. These cars are a whole lot of fun!

these cars are mass produced.....unfortunately they are not collectors items...regardless of options ordered.
