They also insure ex-military as well.

They might be cheaper in some places, but apparently not in SC. They wanted 450 for the CTS. Same coverage from State Farm cost me 380.

In fact, I have compared USAA every time and still they quote me a bit higher than anywhere else.

Right now I'm at $610 for a year on the ZL1 'vert. We'll see where that goes later.

But don't forget, you have to figure in that USAA is going to give you a subscriber savings distribution payment toward your insurance (if you have it) at the end of the year. I got over $200 this year, directly off my insurance bill.

I'm at State Farm and I pay $720 year, married with no record and its not my daily driver. Its listed as less than 7500 miles a year and not for work. I have accident free discount, multi-car discount and multi-line discount (homeowners ins)

On a ZL1? Nationwide just came back with the ZL1 was uninsurable when I asked for a quote.

The person that works for AAA insurance I think just cured a lot of my head scratching. I've seen some people's rates on here and I don't get how cheap this car is for yall. But then again maybe it's because I'm in Alabama.

I just recently switched to Progressive from Geico, and Geico said they couldn't come anywhere near the rate Progressive was giving me. then again when I asked Geico to give me a quote on my motorcycle insurance since my autos were with them, they came back with four times what I was paying elsewhere. Grant you that elsewhere in this case is a no name like SafeCo or something. I don't even know.

Had an, uhem, incident with State Farm. I personally will never do business with them again. But I know they are "go to" for a lot of people and I think in some areas they are the only ones that will insure, like in hurricane zones.

I have had accidents in past as my ex wrecked everything we ever owned together, they always paid and we never had any issues....other than she has ridiculous rates when we got divorced her mustang went from 45 a month to 145...unmarried females with a record are horrible for ins rates.

I have the same discounts with State Farm and my premium is about the same.

I also have grundy for my Zl1 since it is not my daily driver. Ive had it for many years with my other Camaro's. I like the fact that its an agreed upon value and there is no mileage limits.

I pay about 1,500 for both my vehicles on Liberty Mutual's policy.
One is my daily driver '05 Dodge Ram Daytona and the other is my '13 Roush Stage 3 Mustang. Both with full coverage.

I'm checking with my insurance agent (State Farm) about an appraised value for replacement value, so if my car is god forbid totaled I want to get the value of it now, an extra 10-15 thousand in mods. I will see how it goes.

It's kind of funny because I have progressive and pay almost half what you do. And I know I'm a way bigger risk for an insurance company that you Ron. And I have had one $3600 claim when that racoon jumped in front of me. When I entered my VIN to price the policy the computer didn't recognize it and asked me a bunch of questions. Is it a Camaro yes, is it hardtop, yes is it v6, no is it v8, yes. Boom here is your price. I don't know about your history with a company but they were awesome to deal with for my claims. And to be honest I have been flat screwed by insurance companies like USAA when I had to file a claim. Progressive paid my towing from the crash site to my garage and to my repair facility of choice (ADM performance 110 miles away) didn't bat an eye. I will never change insurance companies because I have one that doesn't screw you when you need to make a claim. Try progressive.
