1st four hour drive.

I spent the day driving to a job across the state. I took my time, and felt very comfortable the entire way. Gas mileage averaged 29.6 and I only goosed the throttle once getting into traffic after a rest area. Nice to know I have the HP to move out of the way, but this car is also very easy to drive slow. Even in areas with red lights, I lost to every Hyundai and minivan I lined up against.

I won't get a chance to race at the track for a couple months, so my new E85 flex fuel and ported intake that is coming soon won't be utilized, but I'm excited to see how badly it affects my fuel economy if I fill up with e85.

This is my first 11 second car (proven last Jan/Feb), and it amazes me how civilized it can be. We have 11,100 miles on it after one year of ownership and it just keeps getting better and has been problem free.

Exactly. And I don't like to "street race." LOL

I also took a four hour trip last weekend and found the car very comfortable. The suspension is perfect for long trips. The only issue I had is where to rest my arms. Holding the wheel at 10 and 2 for four hours causes your arms to tire. The arm rest/console is to low to rest your arm and steer the car as is the door armrest and the window sill is to high to rest your left arm.

Took mine on a 12 hour drive to Seattle last July. Put it Tour mode and was comfy the whole way.

On long drives where I can put cruise control on I bring my legs up a bit so I can rest my arms and hold the steering wheel at the bottom. Really comfortable. But yeah, arm fatigue on long drives does happen due to the driver cabin layout.

Suspension set to "Touring", cruise control set to XX and your favorite play list or audiobook being pumped through the system creates a nice cocoon to while away the miles. The added comfort of knowing that Warp Drive is at your beck and call makes dealing with the occasional passing situation a stress free event. It is a fine way to travel.

Sorry to hear about the arm position comfort for you. I'm a very tall and have long arms so I didn't have these issues.

You may want to hold off on E-85. After the Keystone pipeline gets approved and most of the energy restrictions are removed. E-85 might be history.

That would be a sad development

OP- good to hear, plan to make my annual trek to Cali next summer and going to roll out in the Camaro this time instead of the Harley. Im tall and find comfort in the position to include the window arm rest.

I'm not so tall and find the window a convenient chin rest.

Wouldn't matter with the flex fuel capability. I can still get it from a race shop for race days. I can run 91-93 anytime I want.
