It smoked like a barbecue when I brought it home and they wouldn't let me drive it until we yanked out the straight-6 and replaced it with a rebuilt 350 - now that I think about it, the wait to drive that car just about killed me back then, too!  I should be used to waiting for my Camaros by now We have a '95 Firebird Formula that my husband is fixing up a bit - it has the LT1 V8, so it is a reasonably fast car (although our perception of fast just changed a bit!).
