There will be a NY5THGEN booth at the NY International Auto Show (NYIAS) in April. Definitely everyone is welcome to stop by and introduce yourself. There will be 2-6th gens on display a coupe and vert. And probably 5 or 6 5th gens

Yes the booth will be manned every day, and everyone should be wearing NY5thgen or "LI needs a drag strip" or camaro fifty shirts

Any of you heading out tomorrow night to E-town Raceway/Raceway Park in NJ? Looks like decent weather and drag racing/car show/party looks like a fun event!!! I may go solo just to get those possible 2 runs in and check out the cars in the show ect. Anyone from NY or NJ going let me know. I was there last year and its about a 1 hour and 25 minutes from Queens as far as i can remember.

9 am start
Come for 5 min or stay for hours what ever works
Location
Sunrise Highway (Route 27) and Bedford Avenue, North side of Sunrise Highway, between Newbridge Road and Bellmore Avenue.

For June 2017, Ny5thgen will be having a unique meet up. There's not many places where we are welcomed with open arms. Last year the Long Island Friday nights were held at Burger City in East Meadow as a change of pace. I got to know one of the co-owners and found out he's a huge Camaro fan and previously had one but loves to admire them now. He is super excited that we will be meeting up so he can see our cars.

Date: Sunday June 11th
Time: 10 AM
Location: Burger City - 1900 Hempstead Turnpike, East Meadow NY 11554

Burger city is in a shopping plaza with a bunch of stores including Home Depot, best market, chase bank amongst a few. There is a Taco Bell just across the street on the west bound side for reference. It will be a white building.

Burger City opens up at 11 am. Food & drinks (burgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, fries, onion rings, milkshakes) are available for purchase at very reasonable prices.

The weather is supposed to be great on Sunday and hope we can bring out a great turnout

Going to try to get down there tomorrow. Was at the car show at Bellmore train station off sunrise hwy last night and every Friday, it was packed and i seen a number of 5th and 6th gen Camaros out along with some bad ass other rides. Maybe next Friday if a bunch of you want to go around 6pm or so we can all meet up and get our own section to hangout in the lot. Just a idea to get out and chill...

Due to the past nonsense that went on at Bellmore that things got tightened down on (i.e. Police and fights), the NY5 group meets in walmart in Farmingdale on Friday nights. Going to Bellmore is nice but people don't take care around the cars and that makes me cringe. Our meets are weather pending but anyone is welcome.
