Ok, the beer is getting old and stale in The House.

Reminds me of a restaurant I go to once in a while. Saw it last night with a sign in the window, "Closed for the month of January".

It's late February..............................

Just saying our business model may need to change

Is there any gossip about a 6th Gen at New York?

I think it's that we need something to base our conversation/critiques on. C'mon 6Gen.

However this being "Z" House we could discuss the Z06 till then...

...the cooling/timing issue is a concern. It is definitely not performing on track like a 650/650 HP/TQ 3,500 lbs car should with all it's amenities.

The pains of being an early adopter. I suspect GM will address the issue soon, to what extent though? Who knows..

I know it's way the heck outside the box, but I was just wondering how much weight an all wheel drive system adds to a vehicle, as compared to RWD.

Historically it just wasn't a performance car thing, but it has been demonstrated to be workable.

Can you guys see a Caddy going AWD?

I probably only think about the possibility because I live on the side of a mountain in Colorado, but is that even a possibility in the future?

I'm hoping some excitement over the new version will jump start the only place where the norm is well reasoned and sociable discussion of Z related subjects.

There is certainly excitement building for the May 16 announcement. It's shaping up to be an awesome car. Part of me is hoping there is something grossly wrong with it so I won't want one.....................but I'm pretty confident they aren't going to miss much with this car.

We know it gets the LT1 so more power and lighter weight definitely seem to be in the plan now.

We'll have to wait and see how the SS, 1LE, ZL1 and Z/28 play out. I can see them launching with the 1LE as a package from the start this time. And their has to be a powertrain not announced or known that fills that gap and competes with the Ford flat crank GT350/350R.

But I think those are at least a year out from launch.

I like the slow play of the launch and I also would be in favor of delaying the release of information on higher power models until they can't be trumped. I have owned four different 5th gens with two of those being ZL1's. I did not like the way GM was trumped with the GT500 after the ZL1 release. Not being critical but as a buyer that really bothered me. I'll be more patient with my next purchase, I can say that for sure.

They've been clearly more secretive about the Gen6. I know at one point in the Gen 5 development Bob Lutz said to just take the camo off the prototypes as everyone had already seen the car.

A different launch now. More is expected. At least by me. For the Gen 5 everyone was just happy to have a Camaro again. That good will is lonngggggg gone.
