Just purchased a 97 SS. Noticed the rear end and several other brackets are not painted. Has very little surface rust. Will the car be devalued to clean these areas up and coat with something?

Eastwood chassis black, you can buy it on Amazon.
I have no idea on the value question, but rust never sleeps.
