It's guaranteed to have more power. I think that much can be safely assumed as fact. GM is surely not working on another Camaro version just to have the same or less power than the SS. Camaro is missing a true rival to the Mustang GT500, so you can bet the Z28 will at *least match* that car in power.

HOPEFULLY GM will come out with a WILD 302 again now that would be cool S/ced or not
imagine a 302 rated at 4400 rpm that can turn to 7500 and make like 500 or more horse up there... or a lsa would be nice |

CTS-v is a great car. I had an 06 v and it was fun. The new cts-v stickers for what 70k??? A Z/28 with an lsa motor in it would be nice, but for the money it would cost???? If I was going to pay anything over 50k for a camaro... i would not do it. At that price point i would be a lot more inclined to get a corvette.

Times have changed. People should stop assuming the SS is the donkey's balls. GM is after $$$ on the Z/28, and the easy target is the GT500. End of story.

Right. Regardless of the history of the Z/28, the Z/28 is the only badge that belongs to the Camaro alone, so it's like to be the halo Camaro version.
Furthermore, the model for muscle car success is the Mustang. So the model lines of the Camaro will likely mimic the Mustang's success story: V6, GT and Shelby = V6, SS and Z/28.

I'd love a Z28, however I am more than happy that I didn't wait. Dealers around me were tacking on 4-5000 dollars to the sticker for the SS's, I can't imagine what they will do to a more limited production Z car.

Mine only has 200 miles on it, it might be an extended winter for mine, if the Z-28 is coming, I'm keeping that low mileage so I can get a good chunk of money for the Z-28,
