Ya it actually started back in the horse and wagon days. Whip was used to "steer" the wagon and horses around. Pretty interesting really.. so ya _really_ old school I would suppose.

WOW this term is really 15 years old? First time I heard was a couple of days ago. My daughter is 14 and she has never called it a "wip". I figured she would know this term.

I've lived in Cali for over 30 years.....LOL. There is a first time for everything. Minus the one year I lived in Phoenix, AZ.
