Why would you need a hot water heater?
Oh ... right ... took me a while to figure that one out (early in morning) ... your underlined word helped.
Good One!

That is a very nice idea. I try to park all the way to the end of the world when it comes to parking cause people who swing open their doors. You should be commended in trying new ways in protecting your car.

I had to park my baby in the car deck of a ferry coming back from France last week; I used two lengths of the grey pipe lagging for each side of the car and joined two bungee cords together, threaded 'em thru and attached front end to the coil spring on the suspension and the rear to a small pre-drilled slot that I found in each rear wheel liner. If I can remember, I'll post up a pic - it's neat cos' it sits right on the body swage line where we all get dings and it protects almost the whole side. I got some weird looks off my fellow passengers but whogivesash1t?

Yeah... kind of irritating, isn't it? You can blame Mr. Carlin for that though, from back in the days of his "Words" album. He would go on to say, "What you really need is a hot water cooler".
