I agree. I have two dragsters at home - AC Delco and GM Performance Parts - that I really want to bring into work since I work at GM World HQ. But I'm afraid they'd get stolen.

So Sonny, you need to get yourself to an ACE5 meet so we can get to know you. Jacking your thread. Check out the SE forum. We're planning to go to Year One Braselton Bash next weekend.

Oh, for sure, racism is everywhere. It's about as bad as it gets here, and there's a lot of reverse racism, too. One of our local news stations did a month long segment on it called, "Black & White: A City Divided". Some of the segments were pretty brave, but it was an interesting watch. I've been to your city probably around 5 or 6 times, sometimes playing a gig, and sometimes to see shows, and it doesn't seem as bad to me out there. But of course, I can't really judge that as a visitor. One good friend of mine moved out there about 5 years ago, and she seems to like it a lot more than here [go figure]. But yea, it's definitely not a contest. I wish Memphis wasn't like this. It could be a really cool city. There are a lot of great people here, but there's a way larger amount of jackasses...

And in answer to your question, I play guitar [and repair them for a living, in fact]. Did the rock band thing for the better part of 2 decades. Lots of adventures and good times over that time frame. But I just don't really have the "passion" for it these days. I guess I'm a little burned out on it after playing for so long. And when you're done with the, "I'm gonna make it" dream, you tend to lose the spark, so to say.
