Gen5's were considered really special cars when there were few on the road, now they are everywhere. If they are everywhere and have become very common than they aren't considered special at car shows. As I mentioned, I don't feel comfortable about putting my car in a car show, especially when the guy next to me tells me how many hours and money he put into restoring his car.
When I got my SS the attention was really overwhelming to the point of annoying. Finger prints all over the car when I just got done washing it. For 2+ years I don't think I ever got gas that someone didn't come over to ask me questions and want to see the engine. I didn't want to be rude to anyone but it got very annoying especially when I needed to be somewhere. Again.....my SS is SPECIAL to me for many reasons, as I'm sure most Camaro owners feel their car is SPECIAL to them. |
