The local Love's truck stop has a $.10 increase for each grade, so premium (93 OCT) is only $.20 more than regular. Most other stations in our area are $.30 or more over the price of regular. The Love's regular price is always competitive. Take a look there is yo have a local Love's or pass one.

I rarely post here at all anymore, but I'll show you why the spread is so wide. And truth be told you guys should be happy it's only .25-.35 cents. The problem is the refineries have the price to produce premium in a steep spread. My attached file is a posting of what today's pricing was for at the racks. Keep in mind this is the rack price with no taxes in it. This is Michigan where we have the highest taxes on gas so most places you would be lower. Regular with taxes in it pulled from the rack would amount to a price of 3.020115. Now once it hit retail it gets a markup thus the prices you see.

Most stations around here have a 20 cent difference however there is one local station that has a 40 cent difference. Because of that, I don't even buy gas there for my DD.

One thing I also watch out for is the octane. While in Louisville a couple of weeks ago MyLink showed a Thorntons that was a couple of blocks down the street and more than a nickel cheaper than everyone else. That should have been my sign since it is a discount has chain. When I pulled up to the pump I saw that it was 92 octane so I just got back in and left.

I normally but gas from Marathon since there are 2 stations within a mile of my house. When I am away I look for Shell and BP.

Where I live in eastern PA 93 octane is usually .30 more than regular. I filled up my Silverado yesterday with regular at Sheetz and paid $3.23/gal.

Yeah, again, i was just noting that the premium price jump/gap was higher at one station vs the other, with identical gas and identical regular gas prices at the stations.

Im gonna use the gas buddy app, and actually check the price at the pump from now on
