They definitely carry over, the JRE Scoop Just Flat works.

So, you think the improved response is true, a fact? Hope so because I picked up a Vmax at the Fest this weekend and it sure seems like it to my butt dyno.

Actually Ted I was only semi serious. I've been noticing the fans come on lately in conditions that made me say "what's up with that, that's never happened before". I had not even considered that it could be due to the latest tune you sent just a while back.

With that said, I suspect your latest tunes may be a bit different than my original one from the first Indy CFest (before recent headers tune)

I will forever continue to refine my tunes, and I make changes based on individual customer usage and needs.

Ted.

If the tune is too aggressive for me, you can tone it down a little? My diesel truck with a tune is almost too responsive for my taste (I must be gettign old)

There is no such thing as an aggressive tune that is an internet myth.

Gas Engines are completely different animal than a Diesel, I also Do Diesel tuning.

We can only make the Gasoline engine happy then it makes what it makes based on the part combination and fuel quality.

My tuning gives you access to power you already have but is being held back by torque management.

I make changes to the tuning based on the parts you install.

I also Completely retune the trans for a more Performance Feel in all 3 modes.

JRE has Buy Parts from JRE and Get Custom tunes for those Parts FREE.

Ted.

First, thanks Ted for some great information. I did a search first but couldn't find what I was looking for in my next question, so hopefully if you have some time you can answer it for me.

I have a 2010 SS, 6spd. I am putting on headers with hi-flow cats, x-pipe, and mufflers this week. I am also adding either a Halltech or CAI intake. I have an SCT tuner that I just sent in to be unlocked. (Traded my Ford SCT with a friend who had the GM one, but his was still married to his old car which he no longer has).

The question is, would it be better to get an SCT tune for my car, or take it to a local shop in Texas and get a custom tune, considering what I am adding?
