ZL1 A10: Accepted By Production Control But Still At 1100 Status?
I just contacted Chevy chat about my order for the 2017 ZL1 A10, they told me that My order has been accepted by Production Control which should place my order at 3000 order status if I'm not mistaken, BUT they said I'm still at 1100 status even though my order has been accepted by Production control, 1100 status is order placed at dealership.
What gives?

As you have found out, chevy chat is somewhat unreliable.... I have seen many members get bad info from them....
Just ask Becky on the status thread.....

I would ask your dealer, sounds like they don't have allocation and may not for the rest of 2017.

Chevy chat should have said "preliminary order accepted".... thats what 1100 reads on workbench....

Could it be that they are down for 2 weeks plus 3rd shift eliminated so I'm sure things will be a tad slower.

When dealer says he's got an allocation,
How do we know for which pick up time? 2/9, 3/9, 4/6....? I'm surprised to see that a preorder from now can be picked the 2/9, May be before one from end of December ... Or does it mean that all the preorders already status 1100 will have chance on 2/9? Where can my dealer find when his allocation is due? Just want to have an idea... Thank you |
