Do you think Z28 will come with TVS2300 or TVS1900?

The OEM CTS-V comes with TVS1900 and LSA engine. Does anyone know if the Z28 will get the same TVS1900 or the TVS2300?

you know, i'll be laughing if the z28 ends up being a N/A monster like the ls7, but it'll most likely end up with a blower like everyone else thinks

They're trying to compete with GT500, so they'll stay with a blower. It would be ashamed if they went with 1900 than 2300. It just cuts the growth.
Secondly, they won't be selling a lot of CTS-Vs, so the Z28 is a perfect channel to eat up the extra engine units.

My opinion is they will use the S/C from the LS9. Why?
1. - LSA S/C housing is too big without some kind of modification to housing or firewall and wipers. See Robin Lawrence's car. 2. - GM has put the LS9 S/C kit available through it's Performance Parts Catalog so it is readily available and does not require any modification to housing or firewall. Much easier to install and they have tons of tuning data available to to them from the LS9 build and certification.

If I had to guess I would say it would come with the 2300.

But the GT500 comes with the 1900 so you never know.

LMAO!!! The gt500 does NOT come with the TVS1900! It comes with the OLD eaton m122 2.1L and still makes 550hp. The TVS upgrade puts us at 660hp

So far no one knows for sure which blower they will use.

However, the 1900 is more efficient than the 2300 and can make the same power as the 2300. Look at posts from Robin and blown chevy. They know what they are talking about.

And the 1900 will fit in the camaro with a different housing I believe.

I'm excited to see if this re-engineered plenum will be generic or Camaro-specific.

just make a z28 to compete with the gt500 and we all should be happy reguardless of what engine is in it whether it be n/a or sc or tc at this point!

I wouldn't be surprised if it has a cross-breed between the LS9 and LSA. Take the LSA and give it the LS9's blower and retune it so that it is more or less halfway between the two for power
