It doesn't make sense to use a performance model that is already in people's hands and reviewed several times (ZO6) when you have a brand new model coming (6 gen). Is the brand new model and let it draw people into showrooms to sell all of the old models.

The car in the pic looks like it has a mustache. All it needs is fringe hanging off the back to represent the accompanying mullet.

It will help move other cars as well. Just like the Hellcat has done. People have been buying Challengers because of the Hellcat hype. They will buy 15 Camaro's that will be deeply discounted by then. And because they missed the major auto shows, this get them exposure.

Please let's keep that IROC nameplate in the grave it's buried in.

If ( I am still thinking it won't be) the 16 Camaro is not the Pace car for the 500 I bet it will be for the Brickyard 400 in August.

Chevy doesn't own the rights to the IROC name. The 3rd gen was selected as the IROC car which is why Chevy built an IROC Camaro.

Well the Second Gen was also used but there was no IROC model of it.

The IROC trademark is now owned by Flow Serve Management Corporation.
