I may be in the minority but I like the angrier front end look of the refreshed '14 and newer SS with the deeper lower air inlet and thinner upper grill opening. I hope this is continued in a similar fashion with the next gen car since I know that it helps with reducing drag and frontend lift on the race cars from what I have been told.

Thanks for the correction. Seems like there was one (think used by Cadillac) that was ZF based. Thought it was the same.

We have less than 60 days until the New York auto show before we may be able to touch metal.

Here's hoping. I'm sure many Camaro6 members will be there just in case to get the rest of us lots of pictures.

What are we guessing the odds are of it being unveiled? 50/50? 60/40?
What are the other events that it might be unveiled at? I remember Detroit, now New York....what else are we thinking? |

One of those two or a private event. I'm not too keen on the idea of a private event, doesn't seem correct for a car like the Camaro. |

I would put money on the Z06 being the pace car for the Indy 500 race.

I'm not sure at this point what reason they have of keeping everything about the car a secret.
Unless Dodge is (or GM thinks they are) in a particular stage of development on a new challenger that gives GM reason to believe secrets will help them. Or if they see other cars as direct competition and want to keep them from taking advantage of Camaro specs. Anyway, I can't they just give us some official info on what engine is going in...maybe some interior stuff...idk. kinda bored at this point. I hope they blow our minds. |

The issue with dragging it out and building more anticipation is that the probability of disappointment gets higher. It's like all of those Star Wars fans anxiously awaiting Episode one after so many years only to be met with Jar Jar Binks...

Chicago Auto Show
Here's the media schedule for the Chicago show, guessing it will not be the Camaro revealed there. Guy who posted it said Equinox minor refresh, Silverado Midnight Edition, possibly a mid-cycle update to the Silverado HD.
