I'm in Texas and noone checks for cats etc things like that here. But when hooking up to the computer . When certain rear 02 sensors turned off etc . That's the only thing that will fail

Pretty lousy reason to hate Kalifornia... at least we get to drive our cars year round which can't be said for most of these no-smog states.

Very true!
But here in Texas we get 9 great months of driving.
Relative no mod restrictions.

Real Tex-Mex.
And Barbecue done properly.

California does have better fish tacos, I'll concede that.

Well I guess you have a higher tolerance for government over reach than I do. The high taxes (that they just keep on raising and inventing new ones), ridiculous laws, and awful political climate is enough for me to hate it. Garaging my camaro for a few months is a fair exchange imo.

Enjoy Texas while it lasts. The libs are taking over, after having destroyed where they came from.

They have to remain compliant to whatever standards were applicable when manufactured. Typically pre '76 vehicles don't get tested but could be if they wanted to press the issue.

Amen brother. Unfortunately you are being invaded and these people have different ideologies. Politicians get kicked out of California and wander over to Texas lol
