I have a ported 12" sub box collecting dust in my garage. Ported boxes are just too sloppy for the music I listen to, I have found that I really prefer sealed.

Thanks for the input, do you have a sub in your camaro? Not sure what to get.

U can go to the Fi website and check them out , I would say that its comparable to a jl audio 12w7. They r really nice subs. My ported box tuned to 32 htz is very accurate.

I don't have it installed in my Camaro yet. In my truck I had 1 12" MTX 7500, - the ported box just makes it too boomy. Good for rap (which I don't like) and bass music, but I am going to take out the sub and put it in a sealed box for a tighter sound.

I was just going over this topic and realized that I do not know what tuned to 32 htz means. is it something you do with the amp? could you or anyone shed some light on this? oh and got any pics of your setup? thx

All depends on the lenghth, type of port, and the volume of the enclosure.
