Here's a vid of my old G8 GT at PRP two Junes ago. DA was 2600, so not a good day for racing. I beat a couple SRT8 cars even though they got me off the line. Also walked a slightly modded GN.

Forgot to add: a V8 G8 will walk the V6 Camaro even when it's bone stock on the crappy Goodyear all season radials it came with.

I have seen stock v8 g8's run low 14.4-14.0. V6 forget, they are pigs. Manual Camaro with a good launch would be a good race, auto v6 Camaro, forget it. Of course those times were when it was 90 degrees out.

No sorry...no V6 Camaro manual or auto is going to come close to a G8GT driver for driver. Its not even remotely close. The G8 GT is closer to the SS than the V6 is to the G8.

Incidentally i obtained a g8 gt yesterday. Full bolt ons. Will have to investigate further for tuning. It feels to me like my camaro did when it was stock. Very impressive car. A v6 camaro wont touch it.
