Yes you can.
Yes you will get a CEL because of O2 sensor placement (not harmful).
No you will NOT be utilizing all the power you should be getting from the headers.

?? The Question ??
-----------------------------------
Since tuning the vehicle will result in a complete loss of warranty I am trying to choose mods that wont ruin my entire vehicles warranty. This means that tuning the car is simply out of the question for the next little while....

I know a lot of you guys are running Long Tubes and the package I've decided is listed above. My question is how do you guys get around the 02 Sensor? I've been told that Long Tube Headers ''remove'' the cats, and some ''push'' the cats further down the car.

I believe the headers linked above don't remove the cats, just push them down further, will this throw a code, and if so do I need an 02 Simulator?

Thanks for the help guys!
You should use 1 7/8" headers.

I went about 1800 before a CEL.

I hate to break it to you, but a dealer can refuse to work based on LT's alone without a tune. Hell, I've heard of guys on here claiming denials based on "driving it too hard." If you can't afford to fix it, I would just not mess with it at all.

I live in an emissions state where they use obd2 to test but they dont do visual checks. With longtubes, highflow cats and a proper tune can i pass emissions?

Awesome! Camaro guys have it made. On my Charger R/T you can't get away with longtubes and high flows through emissions because even with a tune if you disable any of the o2 sensors it will show up. You don't have complete control with tuning to completely eliminate the sensors with LX cars.

Yeah, I heard the challenger ECMs are really locked down. It's kind of messed up that dodge would do that with a car that is practically guaranteed to be modded.

Down quite a bit. An unexpected side effect of the long tubes was a right foot that seems to have doubled in weight.

Seriously, though, 70mph before got me about 21 mpg, 70mph after gets the same.

Good luck trying to keep out of the throttle for a while after install.
