I'm on the fence too. Not sure why. The all weather Camaro mats at least look sporty with the word Camaro in white.

$40 difference between oem and Weather Techs. I'm going with the WT.

Ordered.....weathertechs "contain" the debris in your car due to the high sides....there is nothing better to protect the carpet area from dirt and age.

I like how the WeatherTech mats go up the firewall beyond the pedals. That is the one main complaint I have with the Camaro logo all-weather mats.

I have the OEM mats in my Camaro and I'm thinking they may fit on top of the WeatherTech Floorliners.

Just be very careful that the loose floor mat on top doesn't get hung on the gas pedal. With my last Camaro I had a bad experience where the mat was caught on the pedal and I didn't see it. It was a cold start and the engine revved almost to redline before I could shut it off. Not what you want to do to any engine especially a cammed one with lot of lift, dual valve springs - etc.

I ordered the gray ones as I have the ash gray interior. I'll post some pics once I have them in.

I wouldn't do that, for a few reasons. The OEM mats have little spikes on the bottom to dig into the carpet, on the rubber mats those will just slide around. There's a danger of getting jammed around your accelerator or brake, which would be bad. Finally it would be more trouble to clean everything.

With care and cleaning, I had weathertech mats in my 5th gen all year round. Super easy to clean. Shake off large debris, hose down mats, spray down with an all purpose cleaner, use a brush to agitate the cleaner (this is the most important step), hose off the cleaner, dry. As long as you use a brush to agitate and remove the dirt caked on the mats, you'll get clean mats every time. It takes about 10 minutes to do both mats.

My carpet mats in the '14 were tamped down after 2 years and 10,000 miles.

Anyone buy the trunk liner? I'm sure it'll help with rear noise, being a thick rubbery material.
