May be a dumb question. But what mode do you use when it rains?

So it just rained here and stopped but need to drive 35 miles to get my windows tinted..which is the best mode to drive after or during rain?

I am always either in Sport or Track mode. If the weather isn't great I just keep my foot out of the gas a little more than I normally do.

it rains a fair bit where I live here in Oregon. I usually drive in Sport, sometimes in Tour if I want to keep it quiet. And like said above, keep your foot out of it during acceleration.

I'm far more concerned with the outside temps as the stock run flats don't do very well when the temps are in the 30's. And if the rain turns into snow, it's game over for these tires.

Drive carefully (slowly) around corners, nowhere near any limits. Just use common sense

I just put it in touring I have had worst cars in the rain Camaro has a bit of weight so if you drive with care you could use any mode it's up to the driver to control the car!

Agree with Brian. If temps are borderline I keep it in Tour and drive conservatively. If it is raining, chances are that the rainwater temp is lower than that of the ambient air, and will cool your tires a bit. It is not ALWAYS colder than the air, but that is the safer guess.

Biggest problem are the runflats. Really crappy if you get no temperature in the tire. I will change to a premium sport tire. This will transform the car!

When i got my Corvette C6 i tried the runflats and it was a horror to drive when cold outside, i have had 2 situations where i nearly lost the car.
(even with all nannys on!)

If you want to have brown trousers try to push you Camaro in wet or cold!

Also the Camaro runflats far away from a good tire when its cold or in rainy weather.(Only a bit better than the 1st gen runflats from the C6)

Took me almost a year but learned to appreciate ice mode. Just a lot less work on the driver to keep the wheels from spinning.

With the snow tires I want to make them last as much as I can

With the heavy rain we got in California a few weeks ago I went ahead said this is a valid excuse to try snow/ice mode. lol I think it's pretty cool. Kinda makes the car feel lazy.

My car is a daily driver, since it's been raining alot lately I been using snow/ice and it sure keeps the wheels from sliding

Mode is less important than being slow & steady in pushing the gas or brake pedals. With rear wheel drive cars, don't do anything sudden in rain. If you are in snow/ice don't be drivin' with high performance summer tires.

My ZL1 will never see rain (I hope). Took delivery and it snowed half way home. Was totally stressed out. Only 100 miles on it so far due to cold temps here in Michigan. Took out one day and literally could not get out of my driveway onto the road. No traction. Lol
