Won't the seats fold down in the back so you can get into the trunk that way?

If you pop the hood, there are both positive and negative posts you can use to jump the car or at least pop the trunk.

(I accidentally shut the trunk with the battery unhooked one time. So I know they work )

I would say the battery's shot I have seen this multiple times your car ordered or bought off the lot? When they sit they die fast in these cars for some reason. Could be 1000 things but hopefully it's a simple fix.

As the others have mentioned - recommend jump from the front under the hood.

The sound is probably your fuel pump running.

I'm not sure if you are trying to jump it, but if you are that's what the connections under the hood are for.

Chevrolet has a road side assistance you can call. I think the first two are free...not sure. They helped me out back in 2013 on two occasions. Not sure what their protocol is now but it's worth contacting them.

Edit:blackbeast already mentioned this...give em a call
