OMG I think I just blew it

I also just posted this on camaro 5 since I'm on there more but figured it's fitting I post here since it's a 2017 camaro I just have to vent as I'm really hopinng I didn't blow my chance. So I've been busy the last few days and haven't gotten to go through my personal emails, only my work email address and just saw I had an email from Friday from Curt Collins at General Motors saying I was selected to be eligible to buy a 2017 COPO. I was so excited. I couldn't believe it. Me and my father have been wanting to buy one of these to race in stock and super stock since the program started. We used to race in super stock with my dads 66 nova and my grandfathers camaro. Then as I read the email it said I had 48 hours to respond with my intent to purchase. I just responded begging them hoping that it wasn't too late. Hopefully I didn't blow my chance.

Me too, will be a great package to run in NHRA against the Mustangs and Mopar drag packs. Good luck and keep your fingers crossed.

You were more than 48 hours later too? 48 hours isn't a lot of time to expect a response to an email, especially on a Friday.

if your waiting on a response to see whether you get a 2017 copo it is. Should by a smart phone, among other things they receive emails.

I entered for the chance to get one 3 months ago, they just sent out the emails of who they selected friday. Between digging out os a snowstorm saturday and working a 12 hour day in NYC with a 650 ton crane I have't had much time to go through my personal email, especially since its usually just 50 spam emails everyday

If it was ambiguous, tell them you assumed it was 48 hours measured as business days. I'm sure they will be flexible, but that at least casts some doubt as to how clear the messaging was and gives you more leverage.

Wouldn't these copo's increase in price over what you will buy them for out of the factory? So wouldn't it be worth it holding onto one of these with very low mileage?

Even being raced it should still maintain its value as only on of 69. Not gonna get too much milage only driving on a 1/4 mile track
