Make a 2010-13 Camaro grille like a 2014!!!

I get ideas in my head sometimes, and end up not using them. I made a grille that would retrofit an older camaro to look new. I took the bottom of a stock grill and plasti-welded (melted) the top brakets to it. It's pretty sturdy and the melted part shouldn't show if installed correctly.

Because of size probably be $30 to ship, so make me an offer over that.

This is interesting, but I'm confused... On what year model would this be used for?

Any year except the new 2014 it would take modifying the bumper, like Chevy did. The bottom has been brought up in between the headlights on the new car. I'm going billet instead for this project.

So you cut the grill in half lengthwise? That's not gonna fit anything.

So what takes place of the top part of this grill and what about the section where the bowtie goes? Better yet, do you have pictures of this grill installed since none of us have ever seen it before?

Forgive the confusion, but didn't they make the grille narrower because the grille opening is narrower? Seems like you'll have half the grille area a gaping hole, in my minds eye.
Gotta see it in action.......

I dont get it either? and if your trying to sell this grill why dont you have it installed on your car for people can get a better idea of how it looks and where you are trying to go with this idea. No one is going to buy something that someone made in there garage without making sure it fits in the car. Plus i would buy it of phastek any day than buy some crap that you wont even put in there own car but is willing to sell.

Ummmm.....yeah.....but no.

So what you're saying, if I get this right...is you hack up a 10-13 grille to make it APPEAR like a 14 grille. The holes are so cleanly cut and the glue looks doubtful at best....so I'm guessing what you're saying is to hack up a 2010-13 front end to make it fit this abomination? How would you make the headlights work? Is that what you're trying to convey here? Help us mere mortals understand your superior logic, Mr. Megamind.

Here's an even better idea, and I bet it would work...

Take a V6 2014 front end, and install it on your 2010-13 LS/LT/RS/SS. Won't even have to get a different hood since the cowl lines match up on a 13 to 14. If you get the 2014 front end from an SS, you'll need the 2014 SS hood as the cowl lines won't match up. Wouldn't that be a whole lot easier and neater?

Maybe I'm wrong.

I understand what he did, why he didn't install it on his car is the issue. If your goin to try and sell it, you have to take a picture of it installed, from both sides (inside and out) for everyone to see how it looks and fits into the stock opening

Interesting idea, let's see this on an actual car! Sounds pretty cool
