Is it possible to switch out the B/U Camera for one that has guide lines?

Links to possible choices would be appreciated.

Did the 2013 loose the guides? . . . I swore my 2012 in the mirror has it . . been to long since i last drove him, since the snow flew . .

Yep no guides for 2013. It would be nice to have them.

This a big gripe with me. Every car I have/had with a back up camera has the lines. Come on GM lets get an update!!!

I would almost bet, that it is a software thing rather than just the camera.

Yup to the software. I have a friend that just took in his Denali pickup and they did a software update and he now has the lines on his nav.

Yeah adding the lines via a software update would be nice - hopefully GM listens

My 13 has Nav, so the camera view is on the Touch Screen, not in the mirror.

I was surprised that it did not have guide lines - If it's just a software update, then there may be hope. I thought it was a camera/lens thing.

C'mon GM, do us right!

I'm in! Would love to have the guide lines and was surprised when it didn't. Even my dealer said that it had them but it doesn't.

I Seem to recall on my 2013 ZL1, there was a yellow warning cone apearing in the camera view as I got close which turned into a red warning cone when I got real close and the beeping got real fast.
I don't recal if those cones moved as I got closer or not.
The cars at home right now so I can't run out and check.

I've seen cones the cones too.
I'm pissed (and call me stupid) because I was backing down my driveway using the BU camera and couldn't judge how close i was to cobble stone curb and banged up a rim. I blame it on not having the guide lines (have to blame someone/thing but should have used my mirrors).
