Got my car back from the recall!!!

Took it in last Wednesday and got it back today! They said they took it all apart and had it on the lift and were waiting for the Bolts to come in because they got all the other parts before the bolts.

Got the bolts today and they put it all back together, she's finally home in the garage.

Is there anything I should look out for now? Since it was such a big job I'm scared.

You can check your vin here https://my.gm.com/recalls

Also, there's a possibility your vin is flagged, doesn't mean your car absolutely has to have it done, they'll check for it.

They said of all the Camaro's they checked, mine was the first they actually had to do, said my tube was halfway out as well and was gonna come out at any time.

So glad it's finally done.

I take mine in on Thursday, I hope they don't keep it more than a day. Definitely want to get it taken care of ASAP. I was notified by OnStar and received and letter.

Check your coolant level. When they pull the pan, oil cooler lines have to be disconnected. I forgot to check mine when I picked it up, coolant was low since some obviously came out when the pulled the oil cooler lines. I filled it back up and everything is fine, no coolant leaks.

Took them a week for mine. They don't have the parts in stock, they're on GM restriction so they have to send pictures over to the engineers in order to even get the parts... :/

Shit, is there a gauge for the coolant level? What kind of coolant did you fill it with?

Look at the big tank on the left side of the motor. You can miss it. It's on the same level as the engine cover. You can see the coolant right thru it. It has two fill points. When cold the top part should be filled to the brim, the bottom part of the tank should be 1/2 full. Dex-Cool 50/50. That way you don't have to worry about mixing water and coolant 50/50, it is already done for you.
