Great. Now Customer Service makes it seem like it shouldn't be there.....
....maybe they know something.

I hear it too when shifting from 1st to 2nd when I let out the clutch. But generally only when the first driving the car after sitting overnight. Once I've driven it for awhile it seems to go away or not "chatter" as much.

So after your car warms up, you don't feel it anymore? Just curious

Are you guys sure this isn't just some clutch chatter? Which is pretty normal with some clutches.

We would be more than willing to contact your dealership to facilitate a service visit as well as serve as an additional layer of support while your Camaro is in service. Please include your full contact information, current mileage, VIN, and involved dealership in your message if this is something of interest.

Julie, I would totally do that, but I'm concerned about pre and post repair "test drives" by the techs.
I found the source of the rattle to be the clip directly under the shifter knob. I'll fix it myself with a zip tie or something.

Another note, dealers are NOT providing proper break-in requirements for these cars. There's another thread on this forum noting such. The owners manual details break-in requirements on page 200. Everyone should know these and be informed upon delivery. I can see alot of Camaro's coming back for warranty service due to improper break-in of the drive train.

They assume you know how to read (the owners manual). As has been proven here numerous times, this may be wishful thinking..

So I guess just live with it or shift above 2.5k?

Hopefully it does go away at some point!

I've got it too. I think it's just drive line lash (play).

Yeah I've got it too. Nothing too bad, and it is quiet if i let the clutch out pretty slowly. Very slight chatter from 2nd to 3rd also. Doesn't really bother me. If anyone finds that this is a fault, I will take it in.
