XM gone after changing battery
Due to having bone surgery twice followed by a broken leg I was unable to drive my Camaro for 7 or 8 months and the battery went completely dead. I jump started it with one of those lithium battery gadgets from Amazon and drove it for half an hour but the battery was still dead so I had it replaced. The car is fine now but the lifetime XM subscription is gone. All it will play is the default channel that tells you how to sign up. The radio still remembers the presets but when I select one of those it says "channel not authorized" or something like that. Is this a normal result from changing the battery? Do I need to call XM or is it something the dealer needs to reset?
Thanks

Call XM and try a signal refresh. It should restore all the channels

Thanks! I tried the online refresh first figuring it would be quicker than calling and sitting on hold and it worked.
I got lucky with the lifetime subscription. I bought it for a 370z in 2010 and I was able to talk them into transferring it to the Camaro for a $75 fee. As I recall, back when I bought it in 2010 they were transferrable but by the time I bought the Camaro they weren't. Thanks again for your help!
