Bluetooth or ghost?!

So today and yesterday my car has been taking my calls like a personal secretary.
My car is off, all keys inside the house, no doors open, no stereo or anything left on. Right?
When ever I receive a call thought, through my phone, inside the house, my car will start to ring.
CAR IS OFF.

I have an iPhone 5s. I looked in my bluetooth menu and it shows
General Motors- connected.
but the car is off…. if it's off it shouldn't show up at all or show "not connected" and not be selectable.
Yes, I tried deleting and repairing both items
Yes, I tried turning my bluetooth on and off and that's how I found that General motors was re-selectable when it said "not connected"

Rather upset about this. Any thoughts?

Wow thats very strange, If its a ghost it really just likes messing with you

But in all seriousness thats really strange, if the cars off there shouldn't be any power going to the bluetooth. I mean there must be something a little off thats giving power to the bluetooth eventhough the car is off.

Have you ever tried to start your car in the morning and the battery was dead?

No it started fine this morning. I assume that the bluetooth doesn't waste much battery?

Yea good point the bluetooth really shouldn't waste any battery. I was just curious to see if there was only power to the bluetooth.

Have you tried taking it into Chevy and asking them to take a look at it, they should check it out for free, and then ask you if you want to pay $ to fix it.

It's under warranty. They'll fix it for free as long as they don't want it parked sideways in their service bay.

Even when your car is off, keys out, etcetra, there are still some systems that can still operate, OnSTAR and bluetooth just to name a few. However, I think the problem is the iPhone... trust me... it's the iPhone.

Some of the permissions you give iPhone to perform while paired to your car includes:

o directly call phone numbers

o read phone status and identity

o precise locaion (GPS and network-based)

o read call log

o read your contacts

o full network access

o modify or delete the contents of your USB storage

o find accounts on the service

o adjust settings of your vehicle

o change your audio settings

o test access to protected storage

o recieve/ transmit data from the Internet

o take pictures and videos

o record audio

o continue to operate when your car if off, no keys in the ignition, batteris are disconnected, and while you are in the hose, at work or pretty much anytime it wants without your premission

o may appear that your car has "ghostly" features just to freak you out

...please feel free to add as seem fit.

I believe this is a radio issue. The reason I say this is bc I know that when the car is off, you can press the power button and the radio will turn on. I'm not sure what year your car is but I know this is a feature with Chevy now. I have 3 cars and I know that my cruze and equinox both do this. My guess is that something isn't programmed in the radio correctly and is maybe keeping the radio in a standby mode or something. That would at least explain why your car is turning on the radio to answer calls. If you want to at least try something you could try resetting your phone to factory defaults this way it will remove everything and then you can try again from scratch. Just make sure you back up your stuff. And if you go this route, I wouldn't suggest restoring your phone from the backup. In the event it is your phone, the problem could get recopied back onto your phone. Hope this somewhat helps.

I have the exact same problem. But I have a Galaxy Note. My ghostly experience started a few days ago. Haven't found the problem yet.
