there is a article by hot rod on weak links, in the support of a cam many here have done it, hopefully it was broken in right and has good springs. Not knowing the lift or duration or other supporting parts its hard to judge. These engines are under cammed according to articles on them so this should liven it up, and if it has a cam it may have headers? Also you cannot always believe what a salesperson says.

If I were you I would run a quality oil in it to make sure if it is cammed that it has a chance like driven racing LS30 http://www.drivenracingoil.com/news/...ance-products/ Good luck

Only thing I've noticed on my 2011 is a small chirping noise when the heater is on, not sure if it does it when the air is on, because it hasn't been warm enough for me to try it with the air, other than that, great car!

To me the annoying thing about the 2010's is you can't raise the passenger seat. If you have a passenger that is short its gonna be hard for them to see over the dash. Other than that its a great car! I rode in the 2010 SS and its awesome!! I can only imagine what its like to drive it!

kinda sounds like an isolated issue. ive never had any drive shaft bolts fall out....

my 2010 has no real issues...my TPMS act up sometimes but no big deal there.

78000 miles on mine and the only issue I have is:
The brake squeal
Too much attention from college girls which gets me in trouble with the other half
I buy rear tires every 6 months
I can't stop finding any excuse to spend money on my car
I can't stop driving it and racking up the miles.

80k, un-babied, yet, not beaten miles...Tires, 3 sets, brakes, and too much bass makes the rear speakers rattle...5 years and it still makes me smile every time I start it up.....AZ5G

common tapping noise in engine

Can anyone tell me how to quiet down what the dealer says is a common problem in 2010 Camaro's....tapping in the engine ( mine is on the driver's side ) coming from the area of the lifters/injectors ? It started after the engine had a power flush of the injectors by the dealer ! He says no engine light then I drive it until the light comes on, until then he can't do anything about it . I say it's the injector..one of them It taps louder when you accelerate and taps lightly while driving...ANNOYING ! Any help?
