I'm just piling on here but yes, this is normal. I can hear it slosh a bit when I park sometimes, after the engine is off when it is quiet.

This also affords me the opportunity to point out that 'quite' and 'quiet' are two very different words. Knowledge is power!

I am not so sure that the gas gauge would fluctuate without baffles as most of the gauges are buffered so that quick changes in level don't register, only long-term changes. I still maintain that there should be baffles in the gas tank to prevent sloshing. As usual the $1million Service Manual from Helms has nothing to say about the presence or absence of baffles in the tank. Maybe your dealer service dept. could help you get an answer, unless your dealer service dept is no better than mine!

You can usually hear your gas......unless its a silent one

But in seriousness, I have heard it a couple of times sloshing around

I think it's normal, and I've heard it in mine a handful of times. I think I've only noticed it when the radio is off and the windows are up, otherwise it's not loud enough to hear. I'm sure many here have never heard it because their stereos are really loud, their exhausts are really loud, or they are old and deaf. Maybe all of the above in some cases.

No. you're alone in this issue. I've never heard it and don't know anyone who has.

You sir, have excellent hearing. I have never heard it. After you get older you wont be bothered by it anymore.

I noticed the fuel slosh sound when I drove my 2012 SS with the back seat removed. With it installed I notice no sound. While it's nearly useless as a back seat, it makes for a great fuel slosh noise attenuator.
