Magi 2300 Dyno
I think I am reaching the end of the power I can make with the Jackshaft 2300, at least on pump/meth. 733 RWHP / 679 rwtq ... Self tuned, I'm running 18deg of timing up to peek TQ then 19 deg after peek TQ to redline
2010 SS Stick shift SBE LS3 Magi 2300 LPE 10 rib with 3% overdrive lower 2.70" 10 rib Griptech upper 1 to 1 rear Cog Drive CWA 100 Intercooler pump Ported Stock Heads 21C MC PD cam 224/239@0.050 .629 lift 2" Kooks headers 3" Kooks Exhaust Solar Performance Ported LS3 TB 1050CC injectors ZR1 pumps Snow Stage 3 boost cooler Water/Meth Kit Rotofab intake ZL1 rear diff 3.73's, ZL1 drive shaft and Axles I built this car with most of those parts back in 2010, added a few things like the 10 rib and cog rear drive as the years went on. It has held up like a champ, I always wanted to get 750 rw out of it but not sure it's going to get there with the 2300.... I think I am running out of parts to throw at it, any Suggestions? I think the new 2650 kit is going to be the next step... Last edited by FastMatt12; 12-15-2022 at 12:59 AM. |

What kind of boost pressure do you see?
What are the iat2 temps? and do you have enough fuel pressure to run some Ethanol?

about 13-14psi, at the track the AIT's get into the 140's at the end of the 1/4. They don't sell E85 in my town, closest pump with it is 70 miles away each direction, so I would like to stay on Gas.

I think your self assessment is correct. You’re seeing the limits of what the Maggi can take. If you do some searches and reading here…that’s very typical number for where it runs out. You could have someone spec you a different cam that’s heavy on the top end curve and I bet you’d hit your 750 number. E85 would certainly get your number and then some with nothing more than a sensor and a bigger pump. Or…bigger blower as you suggested.
All that said, 733 WHP is a robust number! Nice build. I’m doing something similar right now. |

Leftcoast32 makes a billet snout that will add 93 hp and 146 ft lbs of torque… also run a bigger throttle body

Yea, E would be nice or even a tune for C16 would help, but there's the availability thing and cost. I haul 2 drums 60 miles south and fill them up on E and keep it in the shop. It's worth the drive for me considering even an E50 mix in my tank does wonders on power. The biggest block for you with E is probably fuel delivery with the ID1050's. Not sure what DC you're at now.

Sorry still calling BS. No way a ported snout and bigger TB gained 94hp, not on this planet anyways. Post all the pics you want. Oh, and it looks like you've made a whole 3 posts here so you have a lot of time to judge me on what I know.
