Who is here just staking, but not buying a 2016?
I have no intention in buying a 6th Gen till the Lt4 version is out, but I still come check this place out everyday. Lol. I guess once the body is out it will slow down for me.

Will depend on a lot of things, but a change may be in the future....I'll keep mine for now until there's some history and solid time-frame on all the models for this gen...
It will need to have a significant new "wow" factor above the 5thGen to trade-in. But if you currently don't have a Camaro, this is a great time to stay on top and decide what and when you want to jump in... ...Never hurts to be informed....There's a lot of sharp cookies offering their knowledge and experience to all of us....It's interesting and will save playing catch-up on all the intel later on.... |

I'm buying a car at the end of this year, and the odds-on favorite is the Camaro, but we'll see when I can compare all the vehicles on my list side by side.

At this point i've certainly convinced myself I'm buying a 6amaro ZL1, but then again, I've been 5 minutes away from driving a ZL1 off a lot twice.

Hopefully the G6'er will have a ZL-1 "soon"...If not, you may get a great deal on the current ZL-1 before they are all gone...I hope the reveal will let us know what models will be available and when...

I am spoiled and very happy with my car, no plans to buy Gen 6. Saying that, if something happened to my car and I had to replace it, I want to be informed.

I was seriously considering buying one. Then I went ahead and ordered a Vette instead. I'm still interested in the Camaro though, and hope it's as good as I think it will be.

That's my delima, I really love the Z07 but optioned the way I want the car is $116k. A lot of coin but the other half of it is I have a 9 month old. And between work and life time is limited. I think I will get more use out of a Zl1 if I can fit the wife and baby and head to some shows/events and I would still be able to track it when I want. That's what's drawing me to the ZL

I'll have to look at the real thing in person before I make up my mind on that. The renderings haven't really given me the I GOTTA HAVE THAT feeling so I have a long ways to go.

I can't imagine any Camaro being disappointing, in styling or performance !!!!!!! I would love to see the 6th Gen have a 320hp/325tq 2.0L @ 3,455lbs with a nice set of 3.73 posi rear ......
hell, i'll even go as far as to want 3.91/4.10 gears, since we have a wonderful OD tranny ....... |

Im torn. I like my current car and the power is insane. Its kinda like dating a really hot super model that you just cant stand on a "personal" level... I know Id be taking a step back in the HP dept, but my heart is in GM cars. Guess as Ive gotten older the dyno #s have less bearing than the heart. The final visual on the car will be the deciding factor. So far all the prior complaints I had about the 5th Gen seem to be resolved(newer interior/lighter weight).
