Honestly, really and truly, when my daughter in law had my first grandchild we drove 120 miles, all flat ground, cruise control set to 55 down I57 (that was kind of in a protest because the legislators refused to change it, the excuse being "Everybody already drives 65". You should have seen the cars and trucks that passed us! My ex finally asked how fast I was going and I looked down and said, 55. Well, it was a weekday and my brain calculated that by driving 70 MPH instead of 55 we would save 12 minutes in a 2 1/2 hour drive. I made up for that by spending 45 minutes stopping for lunch which pretty much stopped the old lady's jaws from flapping..

So a 240 mile round trip, the DIC said 30 mpg. Now, I have to admit that was a one off. Round trip so elevation canceled itself out. Wind was like the windmills along the highway, some of them were turning but the big farms were just standing still.

Checked it at the station and it was sooth.

Last time I filled up, 18 gallons, the DIC indicated 160 mile range. About 9 mpg.

Auto, 2013 Stock 2SS, 50K miles - I get between 24 and 25. Normal commute is 25 miles each way on country roads and cruise control is set at either 57 or 62 depending on speed limit of the road.

I currently have Progressive Snapshot in my car so I haven't been able to have fun driving for over 2 months. Easy on the gas, Easy on the brake. Can't wait for it to be out of my car so I can drive it hard again.

I have to back mine in and out every day whether I use it or not, so its pretty appalling all year round!
Its certainly not great mpg anyway and fuel here is extortionate compared to what you pay, however 400HP costs.

I asked my Farmer's agent for one of those dohingy's I told him I would make the company think it was broken.

He said, "better not" and gave me a $20/month discount.

I am trying to do everything I can to lowers my insurance. Points will hopefully drop off my record by next summer.

Surprisingly they are from before I had a Camaro and I hadn't even realized I was given any points for my motorcycle accident.

I track my mileage on fuelly and using the acar app on my phone. Main reason I do it is to look for a drastic change, if there is a large change in mileage I look at my driving over that tank, if there are no differences in driving, it becomes time to figure out what is going on. So I do track my gas mileage, but mostly as a diagnostic tool.

Thanks guys! Seems like I'm getting legit results. Got a fuzz under 22 again.

I guess more HP and ~500 pounds more weight (than a previous dd, 97 Z28 M6) ain't gonna lie at the gas pump.
