It's definitely one of those cars that you won't appreciate until you see it in pictures, I never really thought much of the 5th gen until I saw it in person, new mustang looks like ass in pics but in person looks awesome, I'm sure this car will be a stunner once you see it in the flesh.

Black one is 3.6-liter LGX engine.
Don't think they have i4T with what the LGX brings. http://gmauthority.com/blog/2015/03/...r-ct6-cts-ats/ |

Arg it looks even uglier than the '14 redesign.

Looks like a 14 refresh honestly.

So it is getting an LGX? If true that GM is spreading it to more than just Cadillac initially, this car doesn't need a 4 cylinder.

I think most of the pictures are bad. Only decent one I saw was the close-up of the front. I look forward to high def photos and multiple angles.

I love the front, but I'm not feeling the rear. However until I see hi rez photos of the rear, I can't properly judge it.
I hate that wing spoiler though. I know it's functional and it is probably the only way to get the aero numbers they wanted with the SS and up models. First mod I would do if I had a 6th gen is put a blade spoiler on the back. (That's just me though, I just like blade/duckbill spoilers for looks over the wing) |

Looks like the car has less "good" angles than the original 5th gen. That rear end looks like it came off a Toyota, even more so than the 2014 refresh. Not feeling it.
Cue the "womp womp." |

People really complained with the 2014 facelift, and I'm not surprised to be reading it again. This looks more aggressive on the front end, keeps the overall profile, loses a lot of weight, and keeps a familiar tail. Personally, I think the round hood and lack of defined cowl are the only weak points, but I also know a cowl hood is virtually guaranteed in the aftermarket.
It looks like a Camaro. If this is the next Camaro, then GM did a good job of evolving its design. We'll see for sure soon. Also, I've moved this thread to Camaro6.

+1 and I bet they are real. I still want to see the 5th and 6th side by side, but so far the outside of the 6th doesn't look appealing to me.

There is no real estate to put it where we are used to seeing it. There's not much body above the tail lights. It looks like they had trouble figuring out where they were going to put it and then played pin the tail on the donkey.

Mixed feelings here...
On the one hand, I think it looks pretty good... clean design, classy. Looks a lot more expensive that it will likely be. I predict it will be a hit for GM. Should retake the Mustang in short order. On the other hand, I'm personally sad to see that they made essentially ZERO effort to improve rearward visibility. The rear window is a freakin' tiny slit... possibly smaller than even the 5th gen. Combined with the still-fat c-pillar, expect no improvement at all for over-the-shoulder visibility. I suppose all this can be mitigated with cameras and/or blind-spot detection, but still... |
