Anybody try x10" width with a 315/35?
I am fast approaching the need to change rear tires again and wanted to step up this time to the 315/35, but the wheels in the price range i want are only going up to 10" width not 10.5" or 11". So, anybody running them on the smaller 10" width? How is the handling?

I'm running them on a 20x10 with 37mm offset. Handling is fine and they REALLY hook. Nitto 05's. I also went a little wider with 8.5's in front as well.

Your welcome. There is no bulge either btw, it's not oversized.

315 Nitto Invo bulges on 10" rim. Not sure how it hurts handling if any but squished and soft sidewall not optimum. Just changed out to 285/35PSS's

10.5" is really the minimum you want to go with on a 315 tire. I would stick with 305 for sure!!

Stick out how? It does not bulge... It is completely vertical...

315 invo on a 10" rim definitely bulges outward. I tried meassuring and was bulging out about 1/2" past the rim lip.Not bad, the 275 invo on a 9" rim bulges out 1/4" and thats factory size wheel/tire combo

Well, i am either going back with the Vredesteins again or swapping to the Michelin. I know sizes change from brand to brand, but unless i find a 10.5" or 11" in my price range i will probably have to go smaller then the 315

I guess it depends on the wheel their going on. Mine don't bulge. There is the manufacturers lip that sits inside the wheel and then it's completely vertical on mine...

technically they say it is not the right size match, but I have 315's on 10.5 and they fit perfect. So I would assume on a 10" there would just be a small amount of bulge. Many people on here are running 315 on 10s
