I think they said it was a concept color. Ie: Very unlikely for production. With GM's "play it safe" ideology where-in they currently offer multiple shades of black and grey, why would they suddenly offer an insanely bright "green screen" green? There's a lot in-between those two extremes that they need to explore first.

Well they had the krypton concept at sema with the light up emblems. Then the revealed the 1LE with the a regular Kyrpton Green. So, I could be wrong, but it sounded like it would be available at least for the 1LE.

Interesting how they only said it for the LT model. Maybe we'll get the dark green on the SS.

It will be Green or Orange. Purple was a Flop on the 5th GEN. I doubt they will do that again

That color was amazing in person when I saw it. And rare I'm certain. But I'm not a purple fan still.
I would like to see a green like the 2015 Spring Edition.
And the Inferno Orange was a hot color, although I wouldn't have one of those either.

They're referring to the two preproduction 1LE cars that have been shown to the media thus far. The 2LT 1LE model was shown in green and the 1SS 1LE was shown in black. They aren't saying anything about availability here. I don't see where the confusion is. The bottom line: They may or may not offer this color green for the 2017 production year. But if they do, they wouldn't offer it on the 2LT 1LE and not the 1SS 1LE. That makes no sense. However, would they limit this to only one special edition Camaro? Perhaps. Who knows?

Any alive colors would be great for GM, There color pallet is to sedate for a car that is supposed to be exciting. Dodge is the king of colors followed by Ford.

Daytona Sunset Orange or Cayenne Metallic (It was a GMC color). I voted orange.

+1, right now it has 4 colors that are essentially different shades of black. Loose the one that sell the worst and liven it up some.

Again, it's not so much confusion as it's more of me basing my viewpoint off of an interview I watched with Al O. where he stated he hoped fans were happy with the green offering. The way he worded it leads me to believe this would be an option at least on the 1LE. Appreciate the link regarding it being referred to as a concept color still, I hadn't seen that. I still feel it's all but confirmed for the 1LE though.

Personally, I'm a huge fan of the green but I also want to see a Hugger Orange for MY17. It only makes sense to me seeing that it's the 50th anniversary year.
