2015 Camaro redesign?

I was looking when orders for the 2015 Camaro start on http://www.edmunds.com/model-year-changes/2015/ and i noticed it says it will be redesigned. Keeping in mind this is a prediction makes me wonder what could change.

Any guesses?

Highly doubt they would redesign the hood nose and rear end for a one year run would think 2016 to 2018 redesign. could be refresh in the drive train maybe LT1 engine with the 8 speed auto option. Maybe nothing.

I'm sure the LT1 will make it's way into them very soon. Hopefully that LT4 will one day too.

Yeah I would think it would make sense from a Production sense why Make (3 ) 6.2 L engines. They may detune it a bit to 430-450 to keep Corvette buyers happy. even though the weight would hold it back enough to keep it half a second behind the vette.

2016 seems like a safe bet, but I'm not ready to say that Edmunds is wrong. Car manufacturers usually keep cars to a 5 year cycle, the first three years the car remains about the same. The 4th year usually see an MCE or a Mid-Cycle Enhancement to keep things fresh. As it relates to the Camaro, Chevy did the refresh late. Maybe this was all due to backlogs related to the bankruptcy?

The 5th gens are 10, 11, 12, 13 then the redesigned front and rear fascia for 2014. Also the Camaro was released in the Spring of 2009 as a '10. So the Camaro is already 6 model years old, by the calender year. If Chevy followed the industry standard we'd see a new Camaro in 2015. The only problem is they have already broke from that tradition.

Lastly, if we were going to see an all new Camaro by 2015, which are traditionally released in the fall, wouldn't there have been mule sightings by now? After the mules and the testing there are the inevitable car show showings.

My guess is an all new Camaro, that will be model year 2016 in the Spring of 2015.

I'm guessing 2016 Camaro, with a summer or fall 2015 release or even early 2016 release as a 2016 or 17 model.

Mid 2015 sounds more realistic to me.

2015 Camaro redesign?

We haven't even seen spy shots. This car is coming out in 2016 on time to give GM plenty of time to retool and fine tune the best possible Camaro to start on Alpha. That's my best guess.

6th Gen in 2015 as a 2016 model is what I understood.
