Rear Window Tint/Defrost Lines

For those who have tinted their windows, is it normal to have a glare from headlights on the defrost lines of the rear window?

I have never tinted my windows before and have gone with a very light tint from 3M Crystalline. At night, the headlights are causing glare along the defrost lines and I have no idea if this normal.

Thanks!

I dont have any glare on mine but im not using 3M on this car. My mustang had 3m on it and I had bad glare off the defrost lines.

The 35% on my 16 SS did that and now the 20% on my 17 ZL1 does it too. I don't know what brand my tint guy uses. The headlights will light up about three defrost lines above and below the actual headlight. Strange effect.

I have the exact same thing. I wondered if it was because of the low angle of the rear window and the tint combination that causes the headlights of other cars to glare across the lines. I've noticed it goes away when my window is on a higher angle that the headlights behind me ( as if i'm going up a hill and the cars behind are lower)
