do you know how much they weigh?

Mine just arrived. They were shipped with just a piece of cardboard taped across the front so some shipping damage and rock chips but otherwise in great shape. I need to wash them, planned on washing the car today anyway so I'll do it then. Man these damn wheels are wide, look like race wheels sitting on the floor right now. But anyway, gmfan is not a scammer, at least not to me. Perhaps only needs some tips in packaging.

Glad to hear!! You'd think he would have packed them well....because these are pretty expensive wheels (even though we both got pretty good deals). He sent me a text and told me that he "wrapped" mine....hopefully with cling wrap.

When you say "shipping damage" what kinda damage??

I've been following this thread and I'm very glad things worked out for both of you. I too am in love with the black ZL1 rims and if I could have looked into the future and seen how this turned out, I would have jumped on a set. Again guys...enjoy those AWESOME rims!!!

All he did was cut out some cardboard circles and taped one each to the front of the wheels. I'm really surprised they weren't damaged more. Hell one circle had a major portion of it ripped off and that part of the face exposed. No cling wrap just about six pieces of packing tape wrapped across the cardboard circle on the front to the tire and rear of the rim.

If CHEVYFAN would start answering everyone questions, send pictures, along with all of the info, he can REALLY have a good thing going if he can continue to get the true GM ZL1/1LE wheels. I was honestly going to get a set of the LG "ZR28" wheels....but so far...there are NO pictures...just a bunch of info that got my hopes up. They will sure take your $500 deposit though!

Anyhow, I'll post pictures of my wheels when I get them too

I don't think he has a supply. Probably after he sold his polished set and got his black set he realized how sought after they are here and spread the word locally he'd buy oems 's when someone "upgraded". From talking with him he and his friends like bigger wheels (24/26s).

They look good...BUT I was sent all front wheels, all of the tires are 285's. The rear should be 20X11 with 305's. SilverSS, did you get the correct sizes?
